Important: This guide is general information, not a Government communication or approval promise. Current law, portal behaviour and the relevant authority control the actual application.

Professional fee and Government fee are different

BizSarthi's standard one-class application assistance starts from ₹1,499 as a professional fee. The Government filing fee is extra and depends on the applicant category and filing method.

Current official e-filing fee structure

The IP India official fee schedule currently lists ₹4,500 for an e-filed TM-A application by an Individual, Startup or Small Enterprise and ₹9,000 for other applicants. The fee is charged for each mark and each class. Always recheck the official schedule before payment.

What can increase the total

  • More than one class
  • Separate word and logo applications
  • Non-standard drafting or complex classification
  • User affidavit or additional evidence
  • Examination objection, hearing, opposition or other later proceeding

Application is not registration

Filing generates an application and status trail. Examination, publication, opposition and registration remain subject to the Trade Marks Registry process. No professional should guarantee acceptance or a fixed registration date.
